Government Affairs and Advocacy

Part of the role of any Chamber of Commerce is being an advocate for our members.  This includes keeping you aware of any issues about the business community in local, state, and national levels.

In our Government Affairs recaps, we recap local Village Board Meetings, State legislation, and issues on a National Level.  Our goal is to weed out some of the noise, so that you get the updates on only business-level issues.

We are also there to take the collective pulse of our members and advocate on their behalf when the need arises.  We are partners with the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, allowing us to elevate concerns to a larger scope when appropriate.
