What is a Business Alliance?

The Heritage Corridor Business Alliance is a Chamber of Commerce, which represents Lemont, Homer Glen, and the surrounding areas.

Well, than, what is a Chamber of Commerce?

A Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization consisting of a group of business owners and representatives that come together for a common goal. And, in the case of the HCBA, our mission is to advocate, educate, build business relationships, and be a resource that enables our communities and members to prosper.

We organize or assist in events to provide fun activities for the community members to participate in, including as Lemont Legends Cruise Nights, HomerFest, Lemont Witches Walk, and Lemont’s Hometown Holiday. These events help bring the community into our local businesses as well.

The HCBA provides marketing opportunities at events, as well as other programs we run (like our light pole banners and our community guide, My LHG Guide).

Funds raised help us to keep these opportunities at a lower cost, as well as allow us to put on networking events and other educational programming (such as our podcast & webinar series).

And, we’re here to help our member businesses in whatever way we can. If there’s something we can’t figure out, we can connect you to a fellow HCBA member (or municipality staff person) who for sure can. We’re a network for the betterment of our members and our community.
