The Illinois Manufacturers' Association (IMA) is launching their third annual "Makers Madness:  The Coolest Thing Made in Illinois, presented by Comcast Business."  The competition will highlight outsatanding Illinois companies, great jobs, and the fantastic products made in our state.

There are a lot of amazing products here in Illinois, and the IMA is searching for the coolest.  Is your favorite potato chips, pizza, or candy made here?  Farming equipment, construction machines, or passenger vehicles?  Maybe NFL Football helmets or MLB bats.  Iconic red kettles or American flags?

Anyone can nominate "The Coolest Thing in Illinois" by visiting makersmadnessil.com starting on March 2.  Nominations will close on March 20, then online voting will identify the top 16.  Weekly rounds of coting will then commence until they are down to the top four!

We encourage you to go out and vote for a product made by our great members here in Lemont, Homer Glen, and the nearby areas.  There are MANY potential candidates, and we encourage you to make a nomination.  And, if you're stuck between two ... nominate one and ask a friend/loved one to nominate the other.

Businesses, make sure to spread the word and have someone nominate your business!

This contest is independently run promotion by the Illinois Manufacturers Association.  The HCBA is just spreading the word so that someone local wins!
